So I’m finally here. I was traveling for a total of 25 hours including the lay over times, but i must say….although i haven’t started the actual program yet, the land alone is worth the trip. It is amazingly beautiful here. Every street and house has its own garden of assorted palm trees. Every window in every house is open and simply looking out of it puts you in direct view of some sort of exotic tree or plant. The weather is amazing here in Maroochydore. I know summer has only begun here but i hope the weather stays like this, the perfect combination of cool and hot. Every street twists and curves and the land is far from flat!! It’s like riding a roller-coaster, whether your in a car or cruising on the long boards. The coast is literally a 5 minute walk away. I’m not used to this but i can definitely say I’m loving it!!! I’m a city guy so I have to get used to the way these coast boys dress. And no one wears shoes here. lol. The atmosphere, the people, the views, the amazing sounds….Maroochydore is an amazing place. I can’t wait for what lays ahead. If God sent me here simply to appreciate the beauty he created that would be fine with me….but i know there’s more. The people I’m staying with seem like great people, I’m excited to get to know them better. I can’t wait to learn to surf.. its going to be sickk!! There’s also a cool skate park on the actual beach..so i might have to learn to skateboard again. hahaha. PEACEEE. till next time
